Our business API handles everything related to the order behind a given print job. From line items to customer and contact information, payment and transaction data, as well as invoicing, we've got you covered. No matter if orders are simple or complex with non-job-related parts, our data model can handle them.
The Job API is the heart of the Zaikio platform. It allows you to upload semantic job descriptions for almost any kind of print product, including all the parts, substrates, colours, finishings and related files. Our modern layout description makes it easy to describe a print job with unprecendented detail.
A successful job starts with a precise yet quick estimation. Our estimation API provides the means to have all your estimation data available in your workspace. From work step predictions, including durations and costs, right down to every single required material. Finally, your estimation engine or MIS can upload multiple estimations per job, so you can make the choice.
Our production API lets connected systems store information about how a job will actually be produced in very fine detail. From multiple production strategies, including different printing techniques, your imposings and related files, as well as finishing data, we've got you covered. Right down to the actual process network containing all work steps, material requirements and machines for a successful production run.
Logistics have become an essential yet often complex part of print businesses. Our logistics API accommodates this. No matter how many manifests, packagings, parcels, carriers and services you need, the API provides. We handle almost infinite combinations in the packing tree. Manifests can either be attached to single jobs and orders, to many, or none, you decide.
Planning is one thing, but you really need to know what is going on down there in the factory. That is where our Shop Floor API comes in. From machines, materials, work step executions, planning slots, unavailabilities, time overruns, and/or production obstacles, we keep you informed. The Production API allows a true 360-degress overview of entire shopfloors, even with multiple sites, regardless of the machine manufacturer.
Zaikio stores all normalised job data in our opinionated, structured format. Every object in your workspace is retrievable as JSON via our modern REST API.
All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We use distributed data centres in Europe and the US, based on the location of your business, in accordance with state-of-the-art security and availability protocols and, of course, GDPR.
Any access to your workspace is authenticated using your Zaikio account and OAuth. Data owners have fine-grained control over which apps and users can access the data inside their workspaces. There is also a robust audit trail.
Get rid of FTP servers and hot folders, and say hello to Zaikio Vault! It's our secure PDF file storage that lives right within your workspace, enabling seamless PDF processing in the cloud. It is secured with the same authentication system and security measures that we use all around Zaikio.
Having all data normalised in your workspace is the start, not the end of the journey. What comes next is to make good use of that data. This is done through many apps, on-premises software, and machines. They all will have to work together.
To make that seamless, Zaikio's built-in event system informs every app or machine about changes in your workspace's data that they are interested in.
And then: It's their turn! The apps or machines get the data from your workspace, operate on it, and return the results. That triggers Zaikio to inform new listeners about the changes in the data, and the circle goes on and on and on. Enabling fully automated process chains without any human touch points.
